Branching Possibilities Collection: La Strega

“Can you mend a broken wing?” I ask. 

“I don’t do that,” she says, throwing antler velvet into the cauldron. 

“Can you heal poison?” 

“Nope, I wouldn’t know how,” she says, stirring in lichen and sunflower seed. The brew begins to bubble and bleed. 

“Can you stop an itch?” 

“Of course not,” she whistles, “I’m not a Witch!” 

Then she whispers a song that sounds like cheer, 

And hands me the misty concoction, “Have some warm nectar, my dear.”
