Floating Feathers Collection: Winged Victory

“For how long do I have to hold this position?” Wood Duck asked reluctantly. 

“Sorry,” I said, fumbling with my camera. “I’m just trying to figure out the right settings.” 

The sun was making rainbows on Wood Duck’s face as he spoke, “I bet that even the Winged Victory of Samothrace herself didn’t have to lift her wings for so long." 

“Perhaps not,” I said, “but her feathers weren’t as pigmented and nuanced as yours." 

Wood Duck gleamed. “Ok, I’ll give you three more minutes.”
